Cool concept! It was a pleasant surprise when I realised the news ticker wasn't just gameplay tips, it was actually detailing the decline of civilisation.
It was chilling, seeing the final message by the broadcasting service, followed by the repeat of 'no signal'. It depicted an almost empty world, at this point run by automated systems, in such a simple but concise manner.
The thought of the final people scattered around succumbing to health issues and food shortages due to the issues caused by deep mining output, was creepy (in a good way).
This is such a simple game but it tells a great short story.
It'd be awesome to see this game expanded in the future when you have more development experience (as you've mentioned in another comment)! :)
Hi, I'm really glad to hear that you found the project meaningful. I did spend a good deal of time on the news ticker system and doing some world-building through the headlines, so it's good to know that it did not go unnoticed. Thank you for your thoughts, I enjoyed reading them!
Very neat! After my bungled first attempt that ended in a screen full of asteroids, it was almost haunting the second time to watch the global population tick slowly down while the sky remained utterly empty. I'd love to see this expanded into a more fully developed game. It's an interesting concept with a lot of potential both in theme and gameplay.
Hey, I'm glad you liked it and thanks for leaving a comment. This is my first game so I really appreciate the input. I currently do not have plans to update it, but I may revisit it someday when I am armed with more experience and ideas. Thanks again for trying out my game :)

Good game. It's a bit like the tech tree of Civilisation, you want both options but can only choose one.

Pretty cool concept, story and message that links well with the gameplay.
Thank you :)
